Live 105 radio personality Megan Holiday is celebrating her birthday by throwing herself a free concert – and she picked one of our favorite local rockin’ bands to bring the swagger.

• The Soft White Sixties: (pictured) San Francisco’s hard-driving,  rock and roll band delivers R&B grooves and pop hooks with the transformative power of raw, sexy swaggering soul. Live 105 named them One of the Bay Areas Top 10 Bands for 2011.
• Young Science: Indie-electroc outfit influenced by MGMY and Yeasayer
