Magic Theatre’s Asian Explosion 2012 is a free, five-day festival for discovering, celebrating, and giving exposure to the vibrant community of Asian and South Asian writers for the theater.
The festival coincides with the world premiere production of Lloyd Suh’s Jesus in India. The world premiere of Jesus in Indiacreates the perfect opportunity to weave in a weeklong “explosion” of cold readings, workshops, concerts, salons, discussions, and panels from some of today’s hottest young Asian and South Asian writers.
