Starting May 29, you can now cool down in the East Bay and splish splash down the waterslides or relax in the lazy river.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Concord is finally reopening after being closed for 19 months. They were last open in October 2019, when they closed down for the operating season, and they did not reopen in 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic.

Hurricane Harbor will open its doors to members and pass holders starting May 22, with general admission starting on May 29.

The Park features more than 35 world-class water park thrills. From heart-pounding waterslides, the region’s largest wave pool, Northern California’s longest lazy river and whimsical water adventures for kids of all ages, there’s something for the entire family to enjoy and beat the summer heat.

Six Flags’ comprehensive reopening plan, which the company developed in consultation with epidemiologists, meets or exceeds federal, state, and local guidelines for sanitization, hygiene, and social distancing protocols. Park reopening dates are subject to change based on local, state, and federal guidelines related to COVID-19.

According to the State of California requirements, only ‘in-state visitors’ may make a purchase and/or reservation at the current time. By proceeding with the ticket and/or reservation, you confirm that you and your guest party size will not contain more than 3 households and all guests live in the state of California. Proof of residency may be required upon entrance.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, formerly known as Waterworld USA, is located at 1950 Waterworld Pkwy, Concord, CA 94520.
