Record High Temperatures Set in Oakland & Richmond on Thursday

Thursday, October 15 was a scorcher across in The Bay. It was unusually hot for an October day; five record highs were set or tied across the Bay Area.

Downtown Oakland set a new record high for 92° F; the previous record was 90°F set in 1974. Richmond hit a new high of 93° F topping the previous record or 92° F which was set in 1961.

Half Moon Bay, San Jose and Kentfield tied their record high temperatures. Stay cool because more record highs are expected on Friday, 10/16.
