Dave Eggers & Mokhtar Alkhanshali’s Bookmobile Tour & Free Coffee | SF

Dave Eggers and Mokhtar Alkhanshali, the subject of Dave’s new book, The Monk of Mokha, will be stopping by Green Apple Books on the Park on Saturday January 27th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm as a part of their book mobile tour of the Bay Area in partnership with the SF Public Library.

The Monk of Mokha tells the incredible true story of a Yemeni-American man, raised in San Francisco, who dreams of resurrecting the ancient art of Yemeni coffee but finds himself trapped in Sana’a by civil war. Please join them in welcoming Dave and Mokhtar for some informal conversation about the new book (available before the official release date) followed by a signing and free coffee.

Dave and Mokhtar will also be speaking about the San Francisco Public Library and will invite folks to hop on to the Book Mobile to get a library card and check out a book if they would like.
