“Through the Lens” Photo Walk & Exhibit | McLaren Park

Join photography experts and naturalists as they hike the trails of McLaren Park to capture images of its natural beauty and discover new perspectives and details within the park. You’ll learn techniques to help you take stunning photographs of the park.

If you take a winning shot, the organizers will make a nice print of it and show it around town. All skill levels and all ages welcome. You don’t need a fancy camera – a cell phone will do.

The exhibit venues are still being planned, but they will include local shops, cafes, and libraries, as well as larger locations like the Harvey Milk Photo Center and maybe even City Hall.

This project is produced by Save McLaren Park, in partnership with SF Recreation and Parks Department’s Harvey Milk Photo Center.
