Free Concerts at Optical Underground | SF

A free show in a glasses shop? It’s true. Optical Underground is an eyewear store with a double personality — it morphs into a downstairs venue with great acoustics featuring local bands.

Their monthly after hours underground sessions offer free shows with free drinks and snacks. These SF natives use every opportunity to jam in their underground space.

Often they will have a donation jar for a local non-profit, so bring some cash to chip in.

Bachata | Free Concerts at Optical Underground | SF

Optical Underground is hosting a fundraising happy hour for Groundwork Opportunities with complimentary beverages, music and a special Bachata performance.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Bachata is a dance from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean islands. Both the music and the dance have been influenced by Cuban Bolero, the Merengue (also of Dominican Republic origin), Salsa and Cumbia.
