KQED and Community Cinema are hosting a city-wide screening of the award-winning film, The State of Arizona.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

The battle over illegal immigration in Arizona that came to a head with Senate Bill 1070 frames this riveting documentary that tracks multiple perspectives — activists, politicians, Latino immigrants, controversial Sheriff Joe Arpaio, ranchers, and others — as America eyes the results.

Join Immigrant Nation and 67 Sueños who will host a post-screening reception where you’ll be given the tools to share your own immigration story. After the film, they’re hosting a post-screening reception with free refreshments.
