San Francisco Fleet Week 2023: Blue Angels + Schedule of Events
Look up in the sky when you hear the roaring of jet engines and head down to SF’s northern waterfront and for San Francisco’s annual Fleet Week airshow and festival which is back in 2023.
Although there is a full week of events, the epochal annual air show takes place October 6-8, 2023 when fans from across the Bay converge on hills, rooftops and all along the waterfront to behold the spectacular taking place over San Francisco Bay between Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.

Wednesday, OCTOBER 4TH
- Ship Tours – 10am to 4pm – Pier 30/32 Only
Thursday, OCTOBER 5TH
- Ship Tours – 10am to 4pm – Pier 30/32 Only
- Air Show Practice – Typically in the afternoon you’ll hear the Blue Angels buzzing downtown doing practice runs
- Honor Our Fallen Concert – 6pm at Herbst Theater w/ U.S. Marine Corps 1st Marine Division Band – FREE but tix required
Friday, OCTOBER 6TH
- 2023 Air Show – Noon to 4pm on the northern waterfront (Blue Angels 3-4p)
- Parade of Ships– 11a-Noon – watch the fleet enter the Bay under the Golden Gate Bridge
- Humanitarian Assistance Village – 10am on Marina Green
- STEM Center – 10am on Marina Green
- No Ship Tours on Friday
Saturday, OCTOBER 7TH
- 2023 Air Show – Noon to 4pm on the northern waterfront (Blue Angels 3-4p)
- Patriot Jets Team Flyover – Tribute to Diane Feinstein – 12:57pm (2023 Only)
- Humanitarian Assistance Village – 10am on Marina Green
- STEM Center – 10am on Marina Green
- K9 Heroes – 10am to 2pm at Duboce Park – Watch K9 demos including search and rescue and detection
- Ship Tours – 10am to 4pm – Pier 30/32 + Pier 35
Sunday, OCTOBER 8TH
- 2023 Air Show – Noon to 4pm on the northern waterfront (Blue Angels 3-4p)
- Patriot Jets Team Flyover – Tribute to Diane Feinstein – 12:57pm (2023 Only)

Monday, OCTOBER 9TH

Throughout Fleet Week, thousands of visitors climb aboard amphibious carriers, destroyers and cruisers docked at the Embarcadero to get a glimpse into the day-to-day lives of the sailors serving in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and the Royal Australian Navy.
- All ship tours are free of charge and queue forms on a first come, first served basis.
- NO BACKPACKS on ship tours.
- THERE ARE NO HOLDING AREAS FOR PERSONAL ITEMS SUCH AS, BICYCLES, BABY STROLLERS, STROLLERS, SCOOTERS, PETS etc.
- Due to security reasons, all such items will not be permitted to remain on or near the pier areas.
- For security reasons, all such items will be removed from the pier and may be searched or otherwise disposed of.
2020 Update: Due to the U.S. Navy’s current operational security posture, we cannot confirm the names of ships participating in the 2019 San Francisco Fleet Week until the ships are pierside. Thank you for understanding.
