Event Details

As with the rest of the Bay Area, Litquake has been festering over the unexpected election of Donald Trump. Do they publish a manifesto? Or curl up in the fetal position? Yes, times are dark indeed, but it’s incumbent on the creative class to stand tall and contribute. And so they present some diverse and electric voices who speak to ther nation’s fear, anger, and perhaps even optimism.

In the words of Toni Morrison, “This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. That is how civilizations heal.” Come and join the chorus.
