Event Details

Local writers, artists, and scientists will explore the connection between emotion and climate action. Current and former Friends of the SFPL Brown Handler Writers Residents S.S. Julian and Lindsey J. Smith will lead special guests Doug Apple, Danna Staaf, Tiffany Yap, and animal care specialists from Aquarium of the Bay in a discussion about how emotion plays a role in their work, and how it can help people engage with climate change and the natural world. Presentations and a moderated panel with Q&A will be followed by light refreshments and a chance to talk with presenters in an informal atmosphere.
