Event Details

In the mid-1970s, San Francisco’s sleepy Sunset District, known for boring row houses and fog sprouted Communiversity, a free school bringing together creative folks with shared interests in fun and learning. Later the San Francisco Suicide Club and then Cacophony Society popped up, creating some of the wildest “urban adventures” and pranks in California history, and leading right up to Burning Man.

John Law & Carrie Galbraith, editors of Tales of the San Francisco Cacophony Society, and other veterans explain it all and show videos. And if you were involved back then, bring your stories & memorabilia to this reunion and teach-in for the next generation. Book signings & refreshments too.
