The Tenderloin Sunday Streets will transform a mile of streets in the heart of the Tenderloin into neighborhood streets and community space on Sunday, July 10 from 11 am to 4 pm.

There will be over 85 Activity Hosts filling the streets with fun, free activities for adults and kids alike. The route includes the following streets: Fulton St between Hyde and Larkin, Larkin to Ellis St, Ellis to Jones St, Jones to Golden Gate Ave, and Golden Gate Ave to Larkin St.

Highlights include free iced coffee from 11 am-noon, a giant Lego build of the Tenderloin, free admission to the Tenderloin Museum, a giant Jenga tournament, free bike rentals, breakdancing, book giveaway, rock climbing, a petting zoo, a live music festival and a special section of the block party hosted by Glide on Ellis between Jones and Leavenworth.

This densely populated neighborhood houses the highest number of families with children, has one of the highest rates of car-free households, and has the least amount of park space per capita in San Francisco. Few neighborhoods make a better case for transforming streets into recreational space for playing and building community.
