Event Details

In the spirit of the Tet Holiday and tiny plastic stools, underground food purveyors Katie Kwan (KitchenSidecar) and Valerie Luu (Little Knock) will be hosting Rice Paper Scissors, a Vietnamese street food pop-up, this Thursday, February 3rd from 5-10 PM in the Mission.

The price range of the dishes are from $4-8 dollars – we’re serving up several traditional Vietnamese dishes and desserts. Drop by their terrace near 20th and Valencia to grab some grub on the go or take a seat at one of the mini-tables to do it up, Saigon-style. They’ll tweet the exact address on February 3rd; follow @littleknock and @kitchensidecar to receive the tip.

Funcheap Insider Deal: Mention FUNCHEAP at the pop-up and get a traditional Vietnamese red envelope filled with some non-traditional goodies for the New Year.

About Rice Paper Scissors: Inspired by the sidewalk dining and street food they experienced in Vietnam, they wanted to recreate the experience here in the Mission — complete with small tables, even smaller stools, fresh Vietnamese condiments, Cambodian pop music, and delicious food! They’re serving up Vietnamese comfort foods such as stuffed chicken wings with a Thai chili sauce and crab sautéed glass noodles.
