Event Details

If you are interested in learning what Yemen really is, to those who have experienced it, join the American Friends Service Committee in San Francisco on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 as they explore the answers to this question.

Come and enjoy a great display of photographs by Yemeni photographers, in addition to four short films and documentaries, all working together to demonstrate what Yemen is. ‘Yemen As We See It’ is a chance to experience what Yemen is to a Yemeni, a chance to overcome the barriers of language, culture, and geography. In addition to the art, samples of the unique cuisine will be offered in order to give you a literal taste of Yemen.

The photographs displayed will be available for purchase, and the proceeds will go towards assisting efforts made to better the future of Yemen. Entry is free of charge, but donations are much appreciated.
