Bike to Work Day 2013

On Bike to Work Day, May 9, 2013, the San Francisco, East Bay and Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalitions encourage commuters to leave their cars at home and join tens of thousands of their fellow Bay Area residents in biking to work.

Morning and afternoon energizer stations will be set up to offer free coffee, snacks and other goodies. You’ll also be treated to special parties, discounts, free bike repairs and other happenings in neighborhoods across the Bay Area.

Bike to Work Day 2013

Roll out for the free afterparty for 2013 Bike to Work Day to listen to music, play some games, and raise a glass to your fellow bicyclists from 5-8:30 pm on May 9, 2013.

New Belgium Brewing will be pouring beer in the streets of Old Oakland, with all proceeds going towards making the East Bay a better place to ride a bike.

• Fun bike games like Slow Roll and Bike Sumo
