Menorah Festival | San Francisco 2013 Hanukkah Festival: 25-Foot-Tall Menorah | Union Square
“Bill Graham Menorah Day” in Union Square is a full day festival that features arts, crafts and activities for kids, plus Jewish music, all capped off with the lighting of a giant 25-foot tall mahogany menorah in the middle of the square on Sunday, December 1, 2013.
Starting at 2 pm, there will be crafts and kids’ activities with a special appearance by Frog. Stay for the lighting ceremony of the fifth candle of Chanukah and a musical performance by the Glenn Hartman Klezmer Trio.
Participating in the lighting will be long time Bill Graham colleagues Ray Etzler, Danny Scher, David Mayeri, Bonnie Simmons, Brian Auger and Morty Wiggins.
