Join community volunteers, SF Parks Alliance, and the Recreation and Parks Department in creating butterfly habitat on Strawberry Hill in Golden Gate Park.

The volunteer work day runs from 10am to 2pm, and includes an educational talk during the lunch break. Guest speakers include ecologists, naturalists, and historians who share information about the natural and cultural history of Strawberry Hill.

All instruction and needed tools are provided. Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and dress in layers as the weather may change quickly. Bring water and a sack lunch.
