After a day of feasting with family and friends, come to Downtown San Jose to enjoy the opening of Christmas in the Park 2012. For over 30 years, the two-acre Plaza De Cesar Chavez is annually transformed into a holiday fantasy with over 60 musical and animated exhibits, glittering lights and the 60-foot Community Giving Tree.

Opening Night includes the annual Community Giving Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00pm, with special guest Kristi Yamaguchi, live performances by Italian tenor Pasquale Esposito and Manual Romero from America’s Got Talent, plus a visit from Santa Claus. The park will remain open until January 1st at midnight.
