Join Caltrain in celebrating the completion of the San Jose Diridon and SantaClara station improvements.

This combined project is a major component of Caltrain’s ongoing effort to modernize the railroad. The overall goals of the two projects were to increase operational flexbility, improve train movements and enhance passenger access.

Event Details

  • 10:45 a.m. Program begins: San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station, Platform E
  • 11:15 a.m. Special train leaves for Santa Clara Caltrain Station | FREE
  • 11:25 a.m. Program begins: Santa Clara Station
  • At the conclusion of the program, shuttles will be available to take people back to the San Jose station. Caltrain #142 departs the Santa Clara station at 12:24 p.m. and arrives in San Jose at 12:29 p.m.

** Following the conclusion of the program a light lunch will be served in the historic Santa Clara Railroad Depot.
