In March 2019, the San Francisco Public Library presents HERstory, a month-long celebration of Women’s History Month, honoring and acknowledging the contributions of women and the unique experience of being female today with a diverse array of lectures, films, performances and programs for all ages at every library location.

The Talking Books and Braille Center invites you to join Deaf-Blind mosaic artist, Mary Dignan, for an engaging conversation about her artistic process and techniques.
Based in Sacramento, Mary creates beautiful, intricate mosaics and will have some on display during the program. Her artwork has been shown at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara and the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco.
