The Japanese House is the solo project of London-based singer/songwriter Amber Bain. Crafting a mix of lush dream pop and brooding electronica. Her sounds have also been described as “a spellbinding slice of electropop that likely counts James Blake and SOHN as influences”.

She is one of the few new artists able to take full advantage of the streaming era’s evolving marketing techniques while still staying true to herself and not coming off as a manufactured pop artist. She has slowly built a loyal following by releasing four four-song EPs over the last four years which currently reach over 1.5 million Spotify listeners.
