The 2012 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival is free summer-long outdoor music, theater and dance festival that takes place between May and October each year with nearly 100 events in Yerba Buena Gardens on three stages.
YBGFestival’s famous Thursday Lunchtime Series returns on May 24th with the modern sounds of Tango No. 9.
Using the compositions of Astor Piazzolla as a foundation, the members of Tango No. 9 mix jazz, improvisation, and chamber music elements to create a modern tango sound that is unique and amazing. Tango No. 9 is Joshua Brody (piano), Catharine Clune (violin), Zoltan DiBartello (vocals), and Greg Stephens (trombone).
