>> All you have to do is volunteer to work the event.
Yes, this requires actual work for an 8-hour shift (you’ll help out with selling food & concessions) but there’s a flexible schedule with lots of shifts to choose from, they make sure that you have a decent amount of breaks, a free meal and once your shift is over, you are free the rest of the day to enjoy the tournament. Not bad if you’re a golf fan, or even if you just want to be part of this world-class event that rarely comes to San Francisco so you can make your friends jealous back home as they watch you on TV.
Funcheap Tip: If you’re a huge golf fan, we recommend working the morning shift (6a-2p) as many days as possible. You’re done at 2pm and will have nearly 5 hours of golf to watch after your shift. But if you do work later shifts, you can arrive early to watch the tournament before starting work.
