Event Details

Karen Penley presents “The Girls” and “Um.” “The Girls” is a series of animal girls pieces accompanied by violin and accordion and the changing and swishing of skirts. “Um” is musings by a girl girl with interlacings of accordion and improvisation. Karen Penley has been performing for over 20 years.

Ira Brightman performs the life-extension portion of his solo show “God, Hitler, and Life-Extension.” Included are a talking fetus, how revived frozen people will react, and two spirits new to the afterlife. Ira is a professional comedian. He has performed at The New York Comedy Club, Standup New York, The Hotel Pleasanton, The Marsh Theater, Off-Market Theater in SF.

Kurt Bodden will be doing a part of “Steve Seabrook: Better Than You,” in which he plays master motivator “Steve Seabrook.” Survivors of actual personal-growth seminars call it “hilarious” and say it “nails the tone perfectly,” including “that little creepy edge.” The show won a “Best of Fringe” at last fall’s San Francisco Fringe Festival.
