Westfield San Francisco Centre Announces the Jessie Street Block Party, a New Music, Dining and Arts Venue Debuting June 18 Outdoors at Jessie Street West

Westfield San Francisco Centre today announced the Jessie Street Block Party, a new outdoor dining, music and arts venue debuting at Jessie Street West June 18 and open Fridays and Saturdays 4 p.m.-10 p.m. through September 2021.

Admission is free at the outdoor venue at Jessie Street West, an expansive L shaped alleyway adjacent to Westfield San Francisco Centre at Mission and Fifth streets, transformed with dining cabanas, artwork, flora and fauna, festival lighting and more.

On June 19, music will fill Jessie Street West as rising Pop Artist, Michelle Lambert performs her hits “My California,” “Girl on Fire” and “Come to Me” and DJ’s to add to the festival atmosphere from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. That evening, Noted artist Jaz Miyagi, whose clientele includes Stephen Curry, Mary J. Blige, Drake and more, will be painting a 130’ by 10’ mural celebrating the ever-changing world we live in on the Pickwick Hotel alley wall.

Jessie Street Block Party is part of an expansive lineup of new events, attractions, retailers and dining experiences at Westfield San Francisco Centre this summer. PROM-a Pride celebration under the Centre’s historic dome June 25 is some reminiscent of a high school prom. A Dance Battle Tournament by TURFinc, “Leave Your Mark on the Dancefloor,” is June 19 and July 17. Market Street Makers, a marketplace of emerging local artisan brands is every second and fourth Saturday of the month. Musiquarium @ The Selfie Market, immerses music lovers of all ages in a world of music memorabilia, concert photography, street art and buzz-worthy stage settings through the end of the year.

This summer, enjoy new retail and dining offerings. Find designer apparel and accessories by inspired by the local Hip-Hop scene and the heartbeat of San Francisco at COEUR415; decadent cupcakes and desserts at Savion’s Sweets; fresh and healthy tea drinks from the local woman-owned small business at Pink Pink Tea Shoppe; and, luxury watches and accessories from IWC Schaffhausen. The wildly popular Shake Shack opens its downtown restaurant this summer on the Concourse Level, complete with crinkle-cut fries, Angus beef burgers, frozen custard and more. Rooftop Dinning Terrace offers striking views of downtown and the Centre’s historic glass and steel dome on beautifully landscaped patio, and is open for guests to grab a bite at the Food Emporium and enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner.
