“Bloom SF” Downtown Arts Festival Kick Off (March 27 – April 3)

In partnership with the Mayor London N. Breed’s Downtown Recovery Plan and “Welcome Back to SF” program, seven of San Francisco’s iconic destinations have planned BloomSF, a series of special events and programming running Sunday, March 27 through Saturday, April 3 to welcome workers and visitors back downtown.
The Ferry Building, Embarcadero Center, Salesforce Plaza, Salesforce Transit Center and Park, Union Square and Westfield San Francisco Centre will be joined by The Crossing at East Cut, the City’s newest outdoor community activation, in offering food, beverages, entertainment and activities during the weeklong spring celebration.

Throughout the week “Union Square in Bloom” will display spring and love-themed flower installations in Union Square Park.Ferry Building
“Lunchtime DJs,” in partnership with Fault Radio, enhance the already stunning atmosphere at the San Francisco Ferry Building from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every day, pairing great beats with delicious fare and bay views.Salesforce Park
Salesforce Park will host a variety of public programs with as well with something for everyone, from garden tours, poetry readings, and bluegrass to toddler music classes as well as a Silent Disco.The Crossing
The Crossing will offer Happy Hour in the Beer Garden, DJs, stand-up comedy, fitness classes and soccer tournaments for both adults and youth.Westfield Mall
Additionally, Westfield Mall will offer Double Rewards and a chance to enter to win an instant shopping spree ($500 for first place) and other prizes from Bloomingdales and Nordstrom.
BloomSF programming will include concerts, a wine walk, stand-up comedy, a silent disco, arts & crafts, food trucks, outdoor fitness classes and more. Additionally, floral art installations will be placed around Downtown. The multi-venue programming and installations are designed to allow visitors an opportunity to explore a variety of events and activities in unrivaled settings featuring waterfront views, urban parks, iconic skylines, and outdoor community spaces.

Wear your best floral print and come to the Main Plaza from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. First come, first served.
