National Night Out at the Martinez Waterfront Park

You’re invited to meet your neighbors and some of our finest local law enforcement and first responders as part of National Night Out at the Martinez Waterfront Park.

National Night Out gatherings have plenty of eating, chatting with neighbors and children playing. And the chance to talk informally with police officers and first responders is an integral part of the event, which is rooted in crime prevention.

Realtor and Neighborhood Watch organizer, Pete Sabine, is partnering with local law enforcement, first responders and neighbors for National Night Out. This will be the first time the National Night Out event will be held at the Martinez Waterfront Park.

Waterfront Park is located at 245 N Court Street, Martinez. The event is free, and all are welcome. This year the Feet First Foundation will benefit as a fundraiser.

Several first responders will be at the event, including Martinez Police Department, Contra Costa Fire Protection District, American Medical Response, California Highway Patrol, Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff, Search and Rescue and more.

There will be dancing to the Eagles music by the Midnight Flyer Band.

Food Trucks, safety demonstrations from local law enforcement agencies, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) disaster preparedness information, child ID program information, displays from local fire department and other emergency first-responders, face painting fun, an animal petting zoo and more.
