The 47th San Francisco Comedy Competition is coming to Santa Cruz to a packed Crow’s Nest. The Crows Nest has earned a reputation of being a very notorious venue. This is the last night of Week One. There are 15 comics competing for just 5 spots to advance to the next round. The rest go home.
The San Francisco Comedy Competition is an annual, multi-week, judged, stand-up comedy contest. Over thirty comedians, out of hundreds who apply, perform in shows held in comedy clubs, bars, restaurants, casinos and theaters in San Francisco and around the Bay Area.
