​​Bay Area Rising is a community-based organization that hosts intimate ‘listening parties’ (vibes very similar to NPR’s Tiny Desk’) in unique spaces around San Francisco.

​​The passion project strives to build a community, safe space, and stage to help promote rising independent artists around the bay.

​​We’re putting together small unique pop-up stages around San Francisco for musicians & artists to perform, share stories, and promote their latest works. With every new show, we team up with local businesses around the bay area so that as our artists & shows grow, we are bringing up local communities up with us.

​​For our next show, we are partnering up with Sports Basement: a sporting-goods retailer selling the best brands at basement prices. But if you’ve ever been to the Basement — you’d know that the description doesn’t really do them justice.

​Sports Basement locations are a hub for local clubs, non-profits, and corporate partners. They host over 7,000 events a year — transforming into whatever the community needs them to be. They serve as meeting halls, call centers, movie theaters, art galleries, yoga studios, or even wedding venues.

​​Join us to see how we’ve transformed this 4,500sq ft space into an immersive art and live music experience.
