“I Love SF Because” Art Show

YOU ARE INVITED THIS FRIDAY 5th 9:30am sharp at 601 Dolores st to:

“I Love San Francisco Because,” an Interactive Urban Art Installation

When: The wall’s grand reveal and decorating will take place on January 5th, 2024 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

Where: In front of the Children’s Day School located at 601 Dolores St, San Francisco, CA 94110 (between 18th and 19th Street).

What: In this collaborative art installation, residents, students, parents, teachers, and the local community will have the opportunity to write what they love about San Francisco on a portable 20×30 foot wall.

Who: Funded by the Civic Joy Fund, directed by Brian Rashid, painted by local artist @maxehrman and hosted at the Children’s Day School, this initiative is aimed at reminding travelers and locals alike of the many reasons San Francisco has captured the hearts of so many.

Why: In a time when bad news and conflict surround us, this installation gives us a moment to reflect on and express gratitude for this special city by the Bay, and what it means to all who step foot on its streets, hills, parks, bridges, and beaches.

Invite: Please come by to share something you love about the people and places that make San Francisco the world-class city it is.
