The scent of love is in the air, or maybe it is just the tangy stench of pheromones and desperation.   Regardless, we are here to celebrate (?), tolerate, and even outright laugh at the foibles of Valentine’s Day at DIVA or Die: Love in a Box: Cupid Rhymes with Stupid (I hate this holiday!). We are here to bring you classy, campy, sexy, sassy, and maybe even some bewilderment, associated with the social rites of the day we call Valentine’s.

Bring your bonded partners, your trio, your foursome, your social friends group, alone, or with your imaginary friends and lovers, everyone is welcome!  Our show will (metaphorically) embrace each of you and your love or hate of this commercialized icon of lust in a card. Suffice it to say, this show is the sassiest, cheekiest anti-Valentine’s Day extravaganza you never knew you needed. Join us at DIVA or Die for a show that’s a rollercoaster of emotions – from head-over-heels infatuation to eye-rolling disdain for this “iconic” day of love.

Your guides through this blood pumping mayhem are your production duo of MCs, the Fraulein with the fine Hein, Suprema de la Rouge, and the sumptuous and more than delicious Red Velvet, who is so good you’ll want to try a slice! They’ll navigate you through our performer’s variety of takes on the most gooey of all holidays.

Lineup of Performers (Feb. 2024)

Our lineup of performers is as diverse as a box of chocolates. From the enchanting Andy Rose to the drag royalty of The Dragon King, our performers may have you questioning your life choices (in the most fabulous and entertaining way possible). Star Sapphire  will make your blood fizz with excitement, while Cha Cha will make your head spin. The fabulous Miss Bea Haven will leave you melting in your seat. Rosa Robada brings a touch of sultry mystery and you don’t want to miss the Velvettes, who bring you class, sass, and more than a little ass!  It’s a love affair with the absurd, where Cupid’s arrows are just as likely to miss the mark as hit a bullseye.
