Golden Gate Park “Spey-O-Rama” Fly Fishing Tournament (April 19-21)

Join us this weekend for the Jimmy Green Spey-O-Rama. This annual event brings Spey casting competitors from around the world. Witness amazing casting skills, enjoy the beauty of Golden Gate Park with us at the oldest casting lodge and club in the United States.

Friday, April 19th:

8:00am – 9:30am: Breakfast.

9:00am: Exhibitors setting up along the West Pond

9:00am – 12:00noon: Registration and sign in for all competitors.

9:00am – 12:00noon Qualifying with Glen, Head Judge, for new SoR registrants

9:00am – dark: The casting ponds are open for practice commencing at 9:00am. A roped off portion of the West Pond is restricted for use by exhibitors

TBD: Competitors meet with Head Judge Glen Nagumo on the lawn in front of the Lodge

12:30pm – 1:30pm: Lunch: Sponsored by Lost Coast Outfitters

4:00pm – 6:00pm: Sips and Snack

Saturday, April 20th:

7:00am – 8:30am: Breakfast.

8:00am: Competitors meeting and draw for the Seniors with Head Judge Glen Nagumo on the front lawn

8:00am – 1:00pm: Round one: Master’s Division, Women’s Division and Men’s Division

8:00am – 4:00pm: Exhibitors displaying and demonstrating equipment by the West Pond

10:00am – 4:00pm: Silent Auction open

12:30pm – 1:30pm: Lunch: Sponsored by Confluence Outfitters

2:30pm: Presentation TBD

4:00pm: Competitors “feedback” meeting with SOR Chairs and Head Judge

8:15am – 12:30pm: International Spey Casting Championship Finals in order: Women’s Division, Master’s Division, Men’s Division

8:00am – 2:00pm: Exhibitors displaying and demonstrating equipment by the West Pond

12:45pm: Awards Ceremony (this is an estimate)
