Event Details

Sunday Streets is a city-wide event that takes place in different neighborhoods on Sundays throughout the Spring and Summer and shuts down city streets to traffic so that residents can take over for a day with all sorts of healthy and family friendly activities.

June 20th takes place in the Mission District with free bike rentals, science demos, hula hopping and free ‘funcycle” rides at Garfield Square,  a youth bike rodeo at Harrison and 22nd, a free roller rink at Harrison and 24th along with a Michael Jackson Thriller and Slumdog Millionaire skate dances, lion dances at 24th Street BART place, rock the bike pedal powered stage at 24th and shotwell and much more.
