This meaningful evening will feature cultural performances, reflections on Black history and progress, and powerful remarks from some of the city’s most influential Black-led organizations:

San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce (SFAACC)

Brigette LeBlanc, MTA – President & CEO
SFAACC is a 52-year legacy organization dedicated to economically empowering African American businesses. The Chamber champions Black entrepreneurship and community wealth creation across the Bay Area through advocacy, strategic partnerships, and resource-building.

San Francisco Black Wall Street

Tinish Hollis & Gwendolyn Z. Brown – Co-Founders
San Francisco Black Wall Street uplifts Black-owned businesses by creating accessible visibility, collaboration, and commerce platforms. They are dedicated to economic revitalization and ensuring that Black entrepreneurs thrive in every corner of the city.

San Francisco NAACP

Dr. Johnathan Butler – President
The NAACP San Francisco Branch continues to be a powerful force for civil rights, educational equity, and social justice. With a long-standing history of activism, the branch works to dismantle systemic racism and protect the rights of African Americans through policy, advocacy, and community engagement.

Be part of this decisive moment of unity, pride, and progress. Let’s celebrate freedom, acknowledge our legacy, and uplift the leaders shaping our collective future.
