2nd Annual Printing In The Park Community Event (Emeryville)

 Back by popular demand: Come make art with The Compound Gallery and with your community during “Printing In The Park,” our second annual free, fun event for the whole family on Sunday, September 15 from 12-4 p.m.

If you ever wanted to try your hand at letterpress printmaking, and want to enjoy a Sunday afternoon in beautiful Doyle Hollis Park with your neighbors, this event is perfect for you! We will have Bay Area artists on hand to help you put your imagination into ink, and Artist David Fullarton will be printing up some giveaway prints! Did we mention this is all free?

You want more?  Okay: While you’re having fun and creating new art, The Compound Gallery will be throwing a FREE raffle, and you can pick up your ticket at the printing station.  The friendly folks at The Compound Gallery will be stocked with fabulous prints waiting for you to grab them.

We’re looking forward to spending a fun afternoon with you all.  We will make art, build community, and maybe you’ll discover a new favorite hobby!  We hope to see you there!
