This year’s International ShakeOut Day is October 17, when millions of people worldwide will participate in earthquake drills at work, school, home or even here at your own public library! Join us for a free “Be Red Cross Ready” presentation and learn how to prepare for, and respond appropriately to earthquakes and other disasters. We will be focusing on a step-by-step approach that is manageable, action-oriented, and affordable. You will learn basic preparedness information including how to build a preparedness kit, make an emergency plan with your family and learn what to do before, during and after disasters.
