UNDERDOGS is an award-winning film about homeless dogs transformed into adoptable animals through the training efforts of prisoners.
This documentary screening event on second chances was filmed entirely in the Bay Area, and finds that clear, kind, and consistent communication (positive reinforcement) was instrumental in changing the lives of both the inmates and dogs featured in this film. The film also inspired the drafting of legislation in Oregon and has been airing nationally on PBS stations and the WORLD Channel.
This screening event will feature live music from the original soundtrack by Director Ashia Solei, a screening of UNDERDOGS, followed by Q&A from the audience with Director Solei.
