In 2025, only the most sanitized art escapes scrutiny, and Shadow Circus Voidville is a chaotic puppet show full of depraved monsters. But in order to avoid having to pay back long-spent funding, this group of degenerates have to pretend to be wholesome and put on a ‘culturally educational show.’ Joined by a talented team of musicians, drag and burlesque performers, can this rag-tag group of creatures fool the public into thinking they’re respectable, or will their true dirtbag nature give the game away?
One thing’s for sure – the show will be educational one way or another!
Shadow Circus Creature Theatre is a prolific puppetry troupe in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their puppet creations have been featured in Kat Robichaud’s Misfit Cabaret, Peaches Christ’s Terror Vault, the SF Oasis drag production of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer Live’ the annual Edwardian Ball, the television show ‘Creepy KOFY Movie Time’ and the Berkeley Playhouse production of ‘Into the Woods.’
