A Rare “Free Week” at SF’s Asian Art Museum (July 23-Aug. 4)
From Wednesday, July 25 through Monday, August 4 (extended!), the Asian Art Museum is offering a rare week of free admission while its third-floor galleries are temporarily closed.
Normally $20 for adults, this is a rare opportunity to explore two full floors of stunning art at no cost – including more than 1,200 works and the museum’s acclaimed special exhibition Yuan Goang-Ming: Everyday War.

Running through August 4, this is your final week to catch the first North American solo show by pioneering Taiwanese video artist Yuan Goang-Ming. Known as the “father of Taiwanese video art.

Museum hours are Thursday 1–8pm and Friday through Monday 10am–5pm. The museum is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
