Havana 1991, two sisters under house arrest for speaking out against the oppressive government. Using their art as a for of resistance. What do locked-in places breed?
Two Sisters and a Piano by Nilo Cruz, Directed by Ben Chau-Chiu, Cast includes Monica Rose Slater, Megan Soledad, Caleb Cabrera, and Christian Jimenez.
A deeply moving story of resilience, love, and the transformative power of creativity in the face of oppression. Given current conversations around censorship and government funded out, we feel this story speaks directly to our time.
