Maya Songbird performs high energy queer-pop and has been a mainstay in the Bay Area indie scene for years, releasing numerous albums and touring extensively. In the Stax is a live music series where artists perform in the heart of the library transforming the stacks into a temporary event space. Maya is the latest in a growing number of exceptional and unique local artists to play in the Berkeley Public Library.
