The Barb Shop, a San Francisco-based hair care brand is launching its first brick-and-mortar location at 605 Cortland Ave in Bernal Heights on October 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The shop is a first-of-its-kind hybrid that blends a gender-inclusive barbershop with a vintage-inspired soda fountain serving handcrafted floats, milkshakes, and sodas. Functioning as a reimagined barbershop, stylists will specialize in short haircuts, from bobs to buzz cuts and everything in between.
The Barb Shop will be offering free soft serve for the first 100 attendees, and free transformational haircuts to the first 10 who want them!
