Mission Dolores Basilica Choir will present George Frederic Handel’s Messiah for its 34th annual Candelight Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 14 at 5 p.m. in the Basilica, corner of Dolores and 16th Streets, San Francisco.
Jerome Lenk will conduct the Mission Dolores Basilica Choir with soloists Julia Mulholland, Mary Rauh, Joaquin Luis and Joseph Calzada. They will be accompanied by the Mission Dolores Basilica Chamber Orchestra, featuring David Hatt (organ) and Francis Oliveira (harpsichord).
Following the Messiah, the audience will be encouraged to join in singing popular Christmas songs from around the world.
