Well-Crafted: Mid-Market Free Festive Workshops (SF)

Not your average paint & sip! Get crafty while enjoying hand-crafted drinks and food and creating unique art.

Enjoy free craft workshops that are the perfect artsy excuse to explore bars and restaurants in Mid-Market. Join at The Beer Hall for a custom greeting card workshop, SAMS American Eatery for an embroidery session, or Haru by SAMS to create your own leather ornaments. All just in time for the holidays.

Grab a craft beer, savor hand-crafted eats, and socialize with fellow crafters while making festive creations.

In partnership with Workshop SF and local artists to provide everything needed: materials, inspiration, and instruction. No experience required, just bring creativity and enthusiasm.

  • Risa Culbertson (risaculbertson.com) brings her San Francisco based illustrations and fiber sculptures to guide a creative session, where participants can make their own DIY holiday cards. Her work can be seen around the city, and you can take a class with her at Workshop SF.
  • Neha (NehaXStitch) will teach you to stitch your own design onto mini totes, including an intro to basic embroidery techniques so you can personalize a unique, usable piece of art, and
  • Jennifer Laursen (tiltleather) shares her 13 years of leatherwork experience in a hands-on class at The Exchange, helping you craft one-of-a-kind leather creations.

Well-Crafted is a FREE art event presented by Market Street Arts with support from Workshop SF, the San Francisco Office of Economic & Workforce Development, The Beer Hall, SAMS American Eatery, and haru by SAMS.
