Event Details

With another line up of eclectic, (mostly) American independent films, join SF IndieFest on February 6 at the Roxie theatre for a lively look at San Francisco-based The Residents and their mysterious musical persona in the documentary Barking at the Moon. In this off beat movie we follow filmmaker Marie Losiere as she attempts to unravel the mystery of the masked band members past, blending archival footage and modern day interviews to construct a comprehensive vision of the mysterious band’s full story. Barking At The Moon is not just a love letter to The Residents but also to the Bay Area’s history of creative expression.
