On Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 4 PM, at the Legallet Residence, 88 Selby Lane, Atherton 94027, the De Anza Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society shall have a Zoom program by Atsuko Gibson the Nursery Manager & Assistant Curator of the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden on how to combat challenges to rhododendrons.
Atsuko Gibson is originally from Japan and has a degree in horticulture from the University of Arkansas and has interned at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. She propagates species rhododendrons from seeds, cuttings, and by grafting while managing the 2 acre nursery at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden.
