First Friday Concert Series | Oakland

Every First Friday after Art Murmur in Oakland, The Uptown holds a free concert featuring local musicians and beyond covering indie rock, electronica, hip hop and everything in between.

There is no cover, doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 9 pm.

The Uptown Nightclub is closed as of November 6, 2014.

Band Lineup: February 1, 2013

• Street Eaters (Indie/Alternative)
  The Street Eaters were both born in the Oakland/Berkeley area and raised in the East Bay of northern California. Megan plays the drums and sings, and John plays the bass and sings. They write the music and lyrics together. There’s no one else in the band and there never will be.
