Join us for a celebration of world-class Blues musicians, a myriad of local craft breweries, and smoking BBQ vendors.
Celebrate the 9th Annual Blues, Brews & BBQ on Sunday, Sept. 20, from noon to 6 p.m. at Washington Park (740 Central Ave.) in Alameda. Presented by the West End Arts District, this free, family-friendly festival features an outstanding lineup of live blues performers, including headliner Chris Cain, Terrie Odabi, and the Aki Kumar Blues Jam with Friends featuring Jules Leyhe and Marina Crouse.
Enjoy mouthwatering barbecue, regional craft beer and wine, local artisan vendors, and a Family Zone filled with interactive music and art activities for children.
Set against the scenic San Francisco Bay shoreline, Blues, Brews & BBQ offers something for everyone while supporting local arts and culture. Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs and blankets for an afternoon of great music, delicious food and community fun. Admission is free with RSVP.

Family-Friendly Activities
In addition to the festivities, attendees will have the opportunity to peruse locally-crafted wares from Bay Area vendors.
The Family Zone, hosted by the beloved team at Ozzy’s Music Academy, will offer hands-on music, craft, and creative activities for kids, with contributions from local favorites including Swings & Wings and other Island organizations.
BBQ & Bites
Local pitmasters have included Tante’s Catering, Evergood (celebrating 100 years in 2026!), T&S Extreme, Smoking Woods, Speer, Pearsons, Stackhouse BBQ–along with Alameda locals C’era Una Volta and Calafia–serving up smoky barbecue and sides, while craft breweries showcase their best seasonal brews.
