Experience the great films of Hollywood’s Golden Era in one of America’s finest Art Deco movie palace.
With over 3,000 seats and a meticulously-restored interior, the Paramount offers a true “Movie Palace” experience straight out of the 1930s – with period newsreels, cartoons, previews, live music from the Mighty Wurlitzer organ and the audience participation spinning wheel game of “Dec-O-Win.”
August 6th Screening: “To Have and Have Not” (1944) – The first film featuring the on-screen pairing of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall as William Faulkner loosely adapts Ernest Hemingway’s novel for this thrilling tale of a down-on-his-luck American ship captain in Martinique who reluctantly smuggles French resistance fighters through a net of Vichy police and Gestapo agents.
Doors open 60 minutes before the show – giving you ample time to purchase a cocktail, beverage, or movie snack, admire the Art Deco décor, and enjoy the music from the Mighty Wurlitzer organ.
When the curtain rises at 8:00 p.m., you’ll be treated to a newsreel, cartoon, previews, and the Paramount’s prize give-away game “Dec-O-Win”. The feature film begins at 8:30 p.m.
Box Office opens @ 6:00pm | Doors open @ 7:00
